A small shop but with great pork cutlet at reasonable price. Highly recommended
English menu available. Good variety of portion sizes and combinations of tonkatsu and croquettes. Clear written and verbal instructions of what everything was. Super tasty, even the rice!
Tonkatsu shop located in the west side descending south of Kawaramachi from Kawaramachi Imadegawa.Fashionable and very beautiful store arrangement. There is a little luxury, but it is very reasonable. And, cabbage, miso soup, free substitute for rice! So, students of Kyoto University often visit. It is a store where you can have delicious tonkatsu with crisp crackers.
I ate it for the first time in two years, but still delicious. If you want to eat simmering rice, let's go again.
I went there for the first time in a long time. I used to think that the taste had dropped a bit, but this time it was still delicious. Young people who are free to change rice, miso soup and cabbage are very happy.
The price is not cheap but delicious! Miso soup is delicious, pork cutlet is delicious, rice is delicious, and taste is delicious. Rice, cabbage and miso soup can be refilled, so eat a lot.
The menu is usually Tonkatsu, miso soup, rice and cabbage set meal. The cabbage, rice and miso soup are free to change so you can always be full. There are sets of cutlet and croquette, so I often order them.
Super fein! Thank you.
The place very comfortable, we arrived minutes before it was filled, they have English menu, the bill for 2 came out ¥ 3,500, you can order rice, cabbage and unlimited miso soup, tender meat, soft cabbage, very rich everything, I would go again ❤️
Tenter katsudon for a very reasonable price.
Excellent place to have Tonkatsu. They have an English menu along with English instructions on how to eat so it is very good for tourists. The food was very good and the staff friendly. The place is pretty calm, which is nice. You have unlimited refills possible of rice, cabbage and miso.A meal will cost a bit more than 1000¥, which is cheap.I would definitely recommend this place, I had an excellent time there
Absolutely delicious! Rice was fluffy, miso soup was tasty, and the katsu was crispy and tastes amazing. Friendly staff and good ambiance.
I went twice before I was renewed. The shop is very beautiful and the food is coming out soon. The pork cutlet is quick and delicious! Rice, miso soup and pickles were free to change.
Very good food with a modest price for how much you get. Prices range from around 900 to as much as 2100 yen per plate, but that includes unlimited rice, tea, and soup. The meal I had was delicious and service was quick—and in English.
Good serving and food quality appropriate for it's price. It's a small place but the (2) staff were very attentive. Dinner on a Sunday night isn't too busy though you may have to wait if you're a bigger group.
It was renewed open that was closed due to rebuild construction for a while.I love this shop, so I'm glad it was not closed! The opening hours also passed through, the sales remained unchanged, and the taste and popularity remained as before.Recommended pork cutlet is 120 grams. There is a little more than 80 grams. The balance between softness and eating response, and lean body condition is just right.Rice with rice cakes, miso soup, cabbage, gift boxes are free to change.Especially overeating carved garlic is delicious in any mind and will eat too much. When riding on rice, the balance between the acidity of pickles and the richness of the oil content of pork cutlets is just right. Sweet and slick pork cutlet sauce, dressing which can eat cabbage at all refreshing, miso soup with clams, delicious pork cutlet shop with overall good feeling.
The inside of the store is clean and there is a good sense of seating. The tonkatsu itself is reasonably delicious. The meat itself is not so juicy but light. The bitterness left on the batter is just one step away.
I've never seen a cutlet that is more delicious than here! You may think it's a bit expensive, but you'll be convinced if you eat it!
This place is quiet located close to Kyoto palace. I had the 120g tonkatsu meal set. The pork cutlet is really good. The service is great. Recommended.
Great tonkatsu, it was very tasty. Unlimited cabbage and miso soup was a nice addition.
We received a combination of fillet and loin cutlet. The fillet was very soft and the loin was very tasty with a thick and juicy finish. The seating arrangement that can accommodate a large number of people was also good for business use. As long as I am happy to replace cabbage, miso soup and rice. Because it is a delicious restaurant, it was crowded at lunchtime, so the clerk commented that it was recommended to use it a little later. It ’s also recommended that you add the corn and add it to the wheat.
I went with three friends 😁 I always wanted to see it from the bus, and others were coming‼ ️ Tonkatsu was refreshing and delicious! ️
Food was delicious and service was great. Menus in English are available.
Good food but a little pricey on some dishes, overall it was pretty nice
Barely break evenIt renewed and it became very beautiful and bright inside the shop. There are many children.Pork cutlets are deeply fried and tasty. As you can eat rice, miso soup, cabbage freely, you can eat pickles as well, so handy when you want to eat a stomach full.
I went to see that it was delicious with the reputation of the internet.Well, but it was normal.I thought it wasn't at this level compared to the other restaurants. I think that it is different here because there is personal preference.I went by motorbike, but I had a hard time with few parking spaces. But I want to go there again.
I went on Sunday, but I got luckily smoothly put in! It is free for 60 minutes if the car is in goods receipt to parking shop in Kajii town nearby! Personally I honestly recommend it!
This is my 12th day in Japan (been to Tokyo, Nara and Osaka) and honestly, this is one of my favorite meal of the trip! The katsu had the perfect ratio of batter and pork and it was perfectly fried! On top of that, the waitress was friendly! She offered us an English menu and tried her best to converse with us in English. Also note that the miso soup, cabbage and rice are refillable. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed and will return for another meal for sure!
great food!
The basic frets are very soft. The fillet gently chews meat. There is no smell. There is a lot of rice.It is kind.
It is a pork cutlet shop created in the spring of 2019. It is new, clean and beautiful. It is about to arrive from Kawaramachi Imadegawa on foot. The tonkatsu itself is delicious, but the tonkatsu sauce (upper part of the photo) is very delicious. In addition, it is also high point that there is a small plate to put the sauce. For example, if you put the sauce on the clothes, you will lose the sense of crispness, so I would like to cut the sauce. To do so, you will usually put the meat on the side and then put on the sauce. If put together first, the clothing will be eroded by the sauce that has flowed from the cross section. So I put the sauce just before eating, but it is very time consuming. By dividing the sauce into small dishes, I was able to attach the sauce to the cross section always before eating, and I was very happy. The store itself was a relaxing space. I will go again.
It was delicious. You can get lots of rice in a sheep, so it seems better for women to tell them that they are small.
Inside the clean store, the kitchen which was seen from the window also looked neat and neat. The restroom was also beautiful.I am also very grateful to have no smoking. The meal is also very delicious, it is a nutshell. Soup set meal? However, Minchikatsu had a meat juice inside, croquette was a potato pumpkin, you could choose from several kinds of cream.Cabbage, mochi rice, miso soup is a substitute for freedom. Rice comes to the chest in advance and brings it. It is hard to cool down and I appreciate it.I went before the crowd, so I could relax and have a meal.
Tonkatsu and of course barley and rice are recommended. Both cabbage and miso soup are delicious, and they are always eaten too hard.
Definitely the best katsu dish I've had thus far during my trip to Japan. I ordered the chicken cutlet with a pumpkin croquette meal. The cutlet was perfectly fried and juicy. The home-made tonkatsu red sauce was heavenly and just balanced everything!! And the croquette was so delicious! I've never tasted anything like it before but it was finger licking buttery good!!The meal comes with unlimited cabbage, rice and miso soup. Very good portions. The servers were very nice! English menus are available. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
Pork chops, rice, sauces, cabbage are delicious! Attitude is also very good, the environment is also no smoke smell great!
Crispy pork cutlet. Rice and cabbage can be changed. It is suitable for the price. There are variations of fin cutlet, roast cutlet, and combination.
This place is awesome.
Delicious, the best tonkatsu I have eaten ..Advised by a friend, I was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly, the food delicious. Menu and explanation of the different sauces in English. Top!
Good quality food at reasonable price, fast service
It is delicious and fluffy crunchy cutlet. Service is also good at home.I closed temporarily because of renovation last year, but it has been resumed clean.
Delicious at a reasonable price. The rice still goes on with the taro potato on the side menu
It was soft and crunchy. The pickles were also delicious.
I ate too much and ate too much. I want to come again.
Not that expensive for meat in Kyoto. You have to like fried meat though.
I go to eat once a year to see the theater. Because rice is served in Ohitsu, you can change it freely. The meat is reasonably delicious. It was closed, but it was revived by remodeling the store.
The fried shrimp is fairly thick.I had a large amount of cut lemon and a lot of tartar sauce, so I liked tartar, so there was no shortage. As of 2020.7, corona-enabled business hours are divided into 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:30 to 20:00, and the hours are shortened.
The donkatsu in this place is just work of art. Shame it is closed until october this year. I used to visit this place every once a week two years ago
I ordered a fillet. The finish was soft and very tasty. The amount of cabbage is also appropriate. (You can replace it)I wanted a kind of dressing if I could
Great tonkatsu, nice place and people, cheap price Absolutely to try!
